Students studying in the Division may be eligible for scholarships in foreign programs. Please approach the course coordinators for information.
Courses are either mandatory or elective, depending on the requirements of the different faculties and departments.
Advanced course: 4 weekly hours for the entire academic year.
- Students should follow announcements regarding registration dates. Late registration is not always possible. When registering, students must note the department number and the study framework number.
- It is not possible to join a course in the middle of the academic year.
- An annual course can only be canceled during the first semester cancellation period. A student who wishes to quit the course during or at the end of the first semester will be charged the full fee of the course.
- Students who prove to have successfully completed a course equivalent to “Beginners” at another university in Israel with a score of at least 60 can be accepted for “Advanced” course in this language.
- Students who prove to have successfully completed a course equivalent to “Advanced” at another university in Israel, (8 academic hours) with a score of at least 60, will be eligible for an exemption level in this language (subject to University policy).
- Students seeking either exemption from language studies or placement in the advanced class based on studies abroad are required to meet with the language studies coordinator to evaluate their proficiency through conversation and other tasks. Students must present original documentation of their studies and prove their knowledge. Instead, students may choose to take the exemption exam, for a fee of 250NIS, on the scheduled dates.
